NewLeaf Travel Announces Service to Kamloops and Winnipeg from Victoria
Jun 23, 2016
NewLeaf Travel Company announced today their schedule plans commencing July 25, 2016. NewLeaf originally announced their new service in January of this year but plans were delayed after a federal review of its licensing requirements we required by the Canadian Transportation Agency. With the review complete, NewLeaf has been granted authority to operate as a selling company for discounted travel with flights being operated by Flair Air.
The markets that NewLeaf has targeted are secondary markets primarily with flights in Halifax, Moncton, Hamilton, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Fort St. John, Kamloops, Kelowna, Abbotsford and Victoria.
Initial Victoria service will see two new weekly non-stop services to Kamloops and two new weekly non-stop services to Winnipeg. Introductory one-way fares are $79 for Kamloops and Winnipeg $119.
"This announcement is great news for Victoria International Airport, and we look forward to welcoming NewLeaf when they commence their Victoria service July 30th." said Geoff Dickson, President and CEO, Victoria Airport Authority.
