Victoria Airport Donates $1000 to the Victoria Mustard Seed

In lieu of sending out holiday greeting cards, for the second year the Victoria Airport has donated $1,000 for the Victoria Mustard Seed to kick-off the holiday season. This $1,000 is in addition to other cash and food donations raised throughout the month of November from Airport Authority staff, airlines and partners who participated. The food drive was in support of the 2013 VIATeC Food Bank Challenge.
“We are very appreciative of our staff, tenants and partners who helped make this food drive a huge success. The Food Bank plays such an important role in our community and we were delighted to support them this again year.” said Geoff Dickson, President and CEO of the Victoria Airport.
On Friday, December 6th, airport staff delivered the collected food and cash donations to the VIATeC offices along with the other companies who participated.
