Victoria Airport Authority Wins Two Crystal Awards for Business Excellence

On October 3, 2013, the Saanich Peninsula Chamber of Commerce held its annual 2013 Crystal Awards for Business Excellence. The Crystal Awards recognize outstanding accomplishments and contributions of businesses on the Saanich Peninsula in sustaining and enhancing the economic and social well being of our community. Through the Chamber of Commerce, the Crystal Awards extend the accolades of the community to businesses and not-for-profit organizations, both large and small, in recognition of all they contribute to the economy and daily lives of its citizens.
The Victoria Airport Authority was selected as the winner in two categories:
1. Contribution to the Community – for The Flight Path, a new 9.3 kilometre bike and walking trail; and
2. Business Of The Year (16+ Employees) – for overall achievement.
