Public Advisory on Noise Management - Victoria International Airport

Starting Sunday, May 28, 2000 the Victoria Airport Authority will be upgrading Runway 09-27 edge lighting circuits at Victoria International Airport. The work will take place nightly (except for Friday & Saturday nights) between the hours of 9:00 PM and 5:30 AM with completion by August 11, 2000.
As a result of this work, certain restrictions and runway closures will take place. Scheduled airline arrivals or departures won't be affected, but will require the use of alternate runways. Residents adjacent to the Airport may experience increased or unusual noise levels during this period.
