Kothari Group Hotel Proposal

Kothari Group, an Ontario-based family owned real estate developer, has proposed to construct and operate a TownePlace Suites by Marriott hotel at the Victoria International Airport. The proposed hotel features 129 rooms comprised of a mixture of traditional hotel rooms and extended stay suites along with amenities such as a swimming pool and fitness centre, breakfast area, and 1,500 sq ft of meeting space. A nationally recognized restaurant brand is also proposed for the site. If approved, construction would likely commence in early 2023. At present, the project is being reviewed by the Victoria Airport Authority.
