Victoria Airport Authority Board Of Directors

Gordon Denford’s eight year term on the Victoria Airport Authority (VAA) Board of Directors ended 31 December 2008. Gordon Denford served as Board Chair 2007-2008, and as Chair, Planning and Development Committee 2002-2006.
The VAA Board made the following appointments as Officers of the Corporation and Committee Chair positions for Year 2009:
Chair Christine Stoneman
Vice Chair, & Chair, Airport Consultative Committee Peter Bray
Board Secretary, & Chair, Governance Committee Mel Couvelier
Chair, Audit and Finance Committee Peter Dolezal
Chair, Planning and Development Committee R. Chad Rintoul
Year 2009 Board Chair, Christine Stoneman, is the Province of British Columbia Nominee on the VAA Board and has served on the VAA Board and Committees since July 2004, including as Chair of the Governance Committee and Board Secretary. Christine Stoneman (CMC, RPR) as a Principal with Chemistry Consulting Group has been a leader in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry for more then 26 years. Active in the community, she serves on the Board of Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council and is a Past Chair of Tourism Victoria.
