Attention: General Aviation seeking access to Vancouver Airport (YVR) during the Olympic Games Period.
During the 2010 Olympic Winter Games period - January 29 to March 24, 2010, record levels of aviation activity are expected at Vancouver International Airport (YVR). From January 29 to March 24, 2010, aircraft flying into YVR, Boundary Bay Airport (ZBB) or Abbotsford International Airport (YXX) will be required to have a reservation. Flights without reservations will not be allowed to land or take off from YVR, ZBB, or YXX.
Victoria International Airport (YYJ) is one of the selected portal airports that may provide security screening for aircraft bound for YVR, ZBB, or YXX.
